Here is a selection of John's orchestrations being performed by Ronan Keating and others to give you an idea of live performance works.

John's twenty years as Head of the Music Department at the South African College Schools plus thirty-plus years as a professional orchestrator equip him to teach these skills effectively and his students find the lessons extremely useful and helpful.

​

John's preferred teaching method is interactive and students submit notation scores via music xml file(s) a few days prior to each lesson and then John workshops the score(s) in real time with each student.

 

Lessons are done on an individual basis and last for an hour.

 

The standard cost is USD $80 per lesson, but given COVID constraints on income generation in the Arts sector discounts may be considered.
