present: Mr Walton has been commissioned to write arrangements internationally
for artists working in a variety of settings from cruise liner cabaret shows to
every conceivable local production ranging from a "Rave" for the Stuyvesant
brand to full orchestral productions (e.g.: Yvonne Chaka Chaka at Kirstenbosch).
He works as a pianist (e.g.: the Australian World Tour Production of Les
Misérables among many other shows and he was the late Gerry Bosman's
pianist), conductor, MD, writer and producer…
Mr Walton
arguably has the largest library of light music in South Africa which includes
the Gerry Bosman Music Library, the Rollo Scott Music Library, a 30s to 60s
Dance Band Music Library, the Symphonic Pops Music Library, plus a host of
arrangements culled from many sources. He is connected throughout the music
industry and has worked with most of SA's top artists and quite a few
international artists.
